DEATH SHOW ARTIST STATEMENT

We are frequently reminded of the frightening rate of extinction of so many varieties of our earth’s flora and fauna. In response to the steady stream of devastating news about disappearing life in our natural environment I have imagined this post apocalyptic world where trees are gone, soil has turned to sand and only a few creatures are still hanging on.

In this world McDonalds arches, once the logo of a global franchise, now exist as a symbol of a failed economic system that no longer served humanity.
